I have a ipod dock to RCA cable that I used on an ipod classic 5.

Has the pinout changed?

If so, does anyone know the pins I need to connect to get audio out. I am trying to use a nano generation 6.

Thanks for your time and trouble

Did you try it already and it didn't work?

The pinouts have been the same since 2003 or whenever the 30pin was introduced.  What has changed is the way the OS handles the signals.  Up until the last couple generations, you needed resistors to either trigger the audio out or to get rid of the unrecognized accessory warning.  But most current ones should work without the resistor.

I am pretty sure I was able to get my 6G Nano with the latest update to work with a simple LOD without resistor to work, but I can't currently find it (too damn small) to test.
