Hey folks,
my chain is as follows: Usbridge ---> Holo May L2 ---> RCA ---> Hegel H190
--->Balanced ---> Burson Conductor 3XR
When played thought the Hegel integrated amp (single ended), everything is sweet. When played through the Burson Conductor I experience a lot of background noise and distortion, which doesn't happen if I use the internal Burson DAC.
If i use the balanced connection through the Hegel, everything is sweet.
You might say it's the Burson but, fed through a different DAC (balanced) everything works well. If fed through the may via single ended though a balanced transformer... again everything is fine.
At this point I'm VERY puzzled, because it doesn't seem to be the Burson, neither the cables..... neither the Holo May, otherwise (through the same exit) it would distort in the Hegel, as well... I am VERY confused and would appreciate some advice!
