my ears hurt

Since I've been listening with my new amplifier (2 days), after 3 minutes my ear hurts... maybe it's the eardrum... I am really worried... an you tell me anything else about this?

I'm not sure why people keep making threads like these....

It's your ears. If everyone here tells you that they're fine, but your ears are causing you grief, are you just going to continue using the new amp?

Anyways, hopefully you get this sorted out and it's nothing permanent.

Well, I've got my ears seen by a doctor just a pair of weeks ago
I was just wondering if anyone has ever shared the same experience.
I don't listen at high volumes at all... I just thought that it could have something to do with the lower frequences

if you are listening quietly, what headphones are you using. The headphones could be applying pressure to them with pads/whatnot.

My ears hurt because of smaller model headphones....the headphones too small for yout head?

After some meetings with friends, I've come to the conclusion that the temporary ache was due to the new amplifier... experimenting too much, raising involuntarily the volume too much, and switching switching switching...

Our ears in essence are surprisingly sensitive instruments. Sometimes even the temperature difference when wearing headphones can cause irritation

So stop listening. I find a break of a couple days always cures any pain I experience. Like any part of your body, your ears can become fatigued from a lot of listening.
