Hello everybody. My name is Ricardo, I’m Portuguese and I own a muvo N200 512MB black.

I love my N200 and I’m tired of listen people saying that ipod shuffle is prettier and more fashion then my N200. They say that shuffle looks like a pack of gum. Well, it does indeed but my N200 does too! Some guy got a pack of gum and then managed to put the shuffle inside as you can see [urlhttp://feed.proteinos.com/item/2882]here[/url]. So, to prove my friends that my N200 is that small and fashion I decided to do the same!!! Now my muvo looks like a box of Trident White as you can see in this picture. Sorry for the low quality of the photos, they were taken by my mobile phone.

First of all I got 2 packs of Trident White. They have more or less the same size of muvo N200 (they’re bigger in fact) and they look cool.

All the gum out! I just looovvveeee gum!!!

As you can see N200 is smaller then the box so I had to fill the empty space. I managed to cut one box to fill in the other box. First I made a fake bottom to rise up the n200.

Then I made a small side part that can be used to keep an extra battery since it has the exact size.

Now it fits like a charm!

After that I only needed to make some small holes fot the ear phones and joystick.

This is the final result

This way my N200 is hidden too. I can keep a low profile when I’m listening to it and since there is no cases to N200... So what do you think?

I love freaking people out, they'll think I'm listening to a pack of gum! Hey, maybe I could put my MuVo in an Altoids tin, drill a hole for the headphone wires and.....

Hmmm

Cases are nice, but:
how do you turn it off when you have to?
does that paper offer any protection?
do you ever skip tracks?

My TX512 is just in my shirt pocket, or in my jeans' pocket, and it's doing well without any casing. With a stronger casing that still has cut-outs for accessing the controls and maybe even have a belt clip, I can see the point, but not in a casing like this.

Of course, it's just my opinion, feel free to do whatever you want to do with your player.

Might be

Or maybe these things are really "just for fun"? so you can show to your friends that you are listening to a packet of chewing gums?

Well, if I had a case, I'd prefer it to be something functional.

I can turn it on and off quite easly. I know where the button is so all I have to do is press that area. I can feel the button even with the case. I can also pause music without have to take it off. And i made a small hole to the joystick (?) and it's also easy to skip tracks, to fast foward and rewind. I can also access volume but i use phones with volume control on it so i dont need to use them. I havent done a hole to the lcd because i want to keep it simple and low-profile.

About the protection, well, it's a card box... It does protect it but after some use i have to do a new case. One thing is for sure, it does protect it from thieves

The problem is that there is no cases for N200, except the one with the belt clip. And some protection is better then no protection i think...
