Hi all,
I am looking for reliable not bulky mp3 player with regular buttons but not touch, it should have SD card support and decent battery life. Bluetooth is optional but nice to have.
So what I have found so far:
  1. Sony NW A55 and it's kind of have it all but there are no buttons to choose music, just start/stop and volume. Imagine you you need to operate player in gloves and you should not loose anything from player functionality.
  2. There are some cheap mp3 players with buttons on amazon from IRULU or AGPTEK but all of them cannot play songs in alphabetical order, they look on file creation date and sort tracks accordingly which is not acceptable for me because sometimes I am using peer-to-peer networks to pull mp3s or audiobooks.
  3. Sandisk mp3 players - stupid situation here. There is a model with buttons and bluetooth but not SD card + weak battery. Another model with 8GB and SD support (max 32GB) and bluetooth and weak battery. There is SanDisk clip go Sport which have good battery life but only 32 GB max. WHYYYYY? Sandisk number one in selling sd cards, why not to put 64 or 128 memory onboard or add as slot?

Are there any other options that will match with my requirements? There are some older models like sony nw a 25 but they are discontinued. I can order from ebay (not cheap all over $100) but I am not sure about batter wear and it's life.

Thanks!

Hi,
If you consider option 2, you should know that some tools (like drive_sort, or Fat_sorter under Windows) can scan recursively directories on a SDCard and rewrite them so that the files are listed alphabetically.
It is very convenient for MP3 players that don't do that by themselves.
