Most comfortable headphones ever?

First (for me): Ety ER4S.

Second: AT AD10. Unfortunately they shift around too much if I don't sit still

Third: Beyer DT880

Fourth: Sen HD600/Beyer DT250 (tie)

Fifth: K1000 are very comfortable, but I do take them off occasionally to relieve the hot spots from the pads

All of the above are pretty close, actually. They all develop some itch or pressure point that has me taking them off after a couple of hours to relieve the itch/sweaty ears/hot spots/etc. For a real marathon session I would probably go with the DT880s. They are just sooo nice to dive in to.

This question has been asked before, so you may want to do a search to get more info.

My answer was and still is Sony MDR-F1. It's very light and puts very little pressure on my head. And it doesn't get hot at all even in a hot summer day. F1 is the only headphone I can wear for hours without having to take a "break".

anything with good padding and is relatively light and fit well

I mean V6's with the beyer velors are wicked

senn 570-590 580/600 are pretty comphy

ksc-35

I find my grado rs-2s to be very comphy cause they are light

um... I don't like pleather pads

and for closed phones the Beyer's are good because of their velor pads

My Portapros are very comfy...KSC 35's are probably more so since they don't clamp you head. But I don't really notice them much and have no problem wearing them for long periods or even sleeping with them on

The DT 770 is reputed to be extremely comfortable...they look it too. I almost regret choosing the Ultrasones over them because they look so nice, but I didn't want an overly bassy headphone.

Of the 'phones I have, I'd have to say the Sony MDR-CD1700. They are incredibly soft and comfy. The CD3000s are right there with them, except for the fact that the pleather pads can get sticky in warm weather.

ATH W100s. The little 'wing' on each side that actually contacts your head looks uncomfortable (to me), but actually these are the only phones I could wear indefinitely without any discomfort.

Too bad the sound was not as 'comfortable.'

I thought my AKG K-501s were pretty comfortable. I haven't worn them since christmas time when I gave them to my kid brother, but I recall them being super light and loose feeling yet secure
