My quest for mood altering music. Whether good or bad, simply cant begin.. Because.. Well.. I DONT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK.

Generally, I was thinking instrumental stuff.. Piano, Violin, electronic, etc. Maybe even with vocals?

Not instrumental, femme vox. In the day, it would have been known as "shoegazer". There is no other album that can consistently lower my blood pressure and heart rate like that one.

Robert Rich's "Sunspot Cycle" on the Manifold Records compilation Endless II. There is no other track I have ever heard that so easily changes my brain wave patterns and renders me completely mellow and passive.
