I have an XBOX 360 and a modmic 4.0 with mute switch that isn't working well.
first off, with a wireless controller and the 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter it says that i have a mic in, but when i plug in the modmic the mic symbol goes away. if i switch the mic to mute, the symbol comes back but i obviously cant talk
second, with a wired controller it is recognized in both positions but in order ge the mic to "light up" i need to YELL
I have tried it in my PC and it works just fine with regular talking being picked up easily.
And i also tried adding a Fiio E11 into the mic chain to see if it would help power it to no avail
I Have my chat setup to go out both headset and "speakers"
My Setup:
Game Audio:
XBOX to TV -> Audio Out -> Magni 2 -> AKG 712
Chat
controller -> 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter -> MobMic
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have already contacted AntLion for support but still waiting on a response. Google hasn't been much help either.
