I want one of those CD players that needs phono burn-in and RIAA EQ.
Or is it a record (vinyl) player that also plays CD's.

Alright. Here's what's up.

There are these crazy things called phono amps and you have to use them to a) apply RIAA equalization to the signal and b) add some gain to it so it's at an appropriate line level. Normally, you'd have to use your turntable to burn in a phono amp because CDPs have much higher output. This CD was created so you can burn in a phono amp using your CDP without causing any damage.
