Hi,
I am using an Audio Technica ATH-ADG1 headset with a mixer - Behringer Xynyx 302 USB. It is connected to PS4 via USB. It is connected to PC via 3.5mm male to 2x RCA male connectors going from the computer sound card (3.5mm) to the '2-track' on the mixer. This lets me listen to music on PC while playing a PS4 game and it's great. The headset is then plugged into the 3.5mm jacks for headphone and mic respectively.
The mic is echoing. I use that for voice chat all the time while playing. When I plug the headset directly into the ps4 instead of the mixer there's no echo when I talk in the mic.
With the mixer, when I talk (especially if I breath into it / blow into it) I can clearly get feedback in my headset from the mic. Also, other people I talk to say they get an echo as well.
I have never used a mixer before and have had a rough time getting things working smoothly and just need to fix this.
It wont let me post an image of the mixer probably due to me being new here but you can search 'behringer 302' on google images and it should be the first thing you see.
Thanks very much for your time.
