I recently got a pair for metrofi 220 ear buds but the included ear cushions are very uncomfortable for me. (small was to small, medium uncomfortable, big were to big)

My previous pair for metofi 150's were very comfortable as they were a lot softer so they were easier to insert into my ear. (and shallower?)
I tried the 150 ear cushions but they are shorter so the barb on the 220 stick into my ear which causes discomfort.

Could i some how soften my ear cushions that came with my metrofi 220?
and i don't want foams as i will probably break them quickly.
so are there any softer ear cushions i could use on the metrofi 220s?
