I was surprised to find nothing on a search on these cheap ($20) Sony earphones. These are the water resistant side firing ones. Before I found this website these were my portable headphones. I didn't think they were all that bad. Great bass, full sound. My only real complaint were that they lacked articulate highs. Looking to get a different pair of low cost earbuds. Can anyone compare these to the MX-500's that are mentioned so often here. I assume these are quite different from each other. Many say the MX-500's have poor bass but bass is the strong point of the Sonys. Thanks.
