I have the first CD pressings of a couple Sabbath albums, and the Earmark (owned by Sanctuary) vinyl pressings of some others.
The vinyl destroys the first CD versions in every area, but I have no idea how the remastered CDs sound, which is probably what most are interested in.
However, for those interested in the vinyl, Earmark has actually done three pressings of each Sabbath album (the classic ones with Ozzy). I have both regular vinyl and a clear vinyl versions of different records. The regular is slightly better than the clear, both are amazing sounding. There're also picture disc versions of all their albums, which I've been reluctant to try in favour of the regular/clear. The regular and clear versions are older pressings are older, though, by 1-2 years. Also, I have no idea how these LP pressings compare to older ones.
