These are on Audiogon for $60 (they say the original msrp was $400).
Has anyone had any experience with these?

I'm looking to buy some interconnects, am skeptical as to the high prices on so many of them, but don't want to end up with ***** because I didn't spend enough (and having them be the obvious weakest link in my setup).

I'm also looking at:

Zu (Oxyfuel $45 used, Gede $169--ouch--new)
Silver Lace ($110 used)

My arrangement will be (I believe):
Cambridge Audio 540C CD player
Whcihever friggin' interconnects I end up getting
MG Head OTL MKII amp
Zu Mobius replacement headphone cable
Senn 600s.

Thanks for any effort that you're willing to exert in aiding me in my confusion.

I take this to mean that nobody knows anything about these.
I guess that's a useful answer in itself.
Thank you for helping.

Check out the RS Audio Silver ICs that run about $99 for a 1m run of pure silver ICs. They sell them on Audiogon directly from the maker, and for the price they are suppsoed to be awesome. I bought a pair from them, but it will be a few weeks before I get a chance to burn them in and take a listen. The online review of them did a direct head-to-head against the Valhallas at about $5000 and the differences were minimal.

I really appreciate your input.
Being fairly new to all this, the feedback is invaluable to me.
I will definitely check these out.
Thank you very much.

I looked on Audiogon and found nothing...
what's "RS" stand for, maybe I'll find it that way?

Thank you very much, looks like I won't have to spend $200-$400 on cables.

I went ahead and ordered the rscable solid silver mkII interconnect ($99).
The online review sold me, though it's just one person's review he was clear and seemed to know what he was talking about.
I'll let you know what I think about the cables after I've listened to them for a while (though I'm a "newbie" and my only experience, up to this point, is with really cheap interconnects so I won't be able to make any comparisons useful to most of you).
Perhaps I'll borrow some cables from some friends of mine and do comparisons against those.
Again, thank you for your help.
