Got the soundtrack CD today.
It's an absolutely supercalifragilisticexpialidociously great CD!
Needless to say, I'm a huge fan of the movie/musical.

Disney hasn't made anything this good in 30 years...

Ah, she's pretty good. But it's the whole story that I like, and everything is just right.
Well, she's more attractive than Dyck VanDyke, thats for sure

Do you know 'Victor/Victoria' ? (you seem to be into drag movies, well this is another one.... in a way)
Hilarious little film with her and where she is more of a Diva than in Mary Poppins.

I don't know whether it is 24 bits or whatever. Honestly, I don't give a d@#$ since this is not Beethoven we're talking about,
and if I could enjoy the songs on TV, I can definitely enjoy them
in any CD quality.

I know there was a recent release of this soundtrack, but the CD I got is from 1997. DIS-606157

Mary Poppins

I just got home from work... I work at a videostore (small independent one) and I watched Mary Poppins tonight. Then I come online and see I'm not the only fan of that movie. It's great!

Sad but true, I have The Sound of Music soundtrack on vinyl. Bought it second hand for $1.99 - I couldn't resist! lol....
