I was wondering if anyone here on the forum owns or had the chance to listen to this DAC.

I am not a reviewer so to be honest I have no idea where to start.
I have also little time during this period to listen to it but would be happy to try answering questions or send the unit to someone on the forum willing to review it.

Problem is on paper with older AK4493 selling at 875Eur is very difficult to attract where you could compare to Chi-Fi products with the same price range w/ newer chips. Of course it depends on implementation and other component choices. But just an idea for example a SMSL SU-10 2x ES9038Pro XMOS XU316 DAC is selling at audiophonics.fr for 832.50Eur. Reviews are all over the net.

But ESS sucks. Not an appropriate comparison.
