Hello,
I'm a complete "noob" as far as DACs go and I'd like a little clarification on a technical point, to help me make purchasing decisions.
On the one hand I've read that Amarra seems to completely bypass Core Audio in Playback / Cache mode and it also seems to do funny things with the MIDI settings as it's able to change on the fly the sampling rate between computer and device.
On the other hand Mytek's new DSD DAC USB 2.0 implementation uses its own drivers.
Does it mean that there could be some undesirable interaction between the two softwares ?
