I also use audiophile switches with my U1X. I daisy chain them- I have 3 switches upstream of the U1X.

I have an identical, 3 switch setup with the U1X in my separate speaker system as well.

No issues at all.

Same here, I use a plain Ethernet switch, and now a cheap $50 SFP Ethernet switch.

trying out a demo D2 from my local dealer, sound is fantastic thru my Bryston dac. 3 times tonight the app just froze on my android tablet and i would have to exit the app and go back in and then it works. Is this common? Love the sound but i find this glitch annoying. music still plays when this glitch happens.

I use iOS and never had this issue. I don’t know about Android though.

Both iOS and Android apps should be stable.
One thing to check is that there is enough storage space free for the album artwork cacheing.
If you continue to get crashes, you can contact info@luminmusic.com and they will direct you through sending a crash report from your device.

Lumin apps are very stable. The problems are always network or hardware related.

Only Roon has ever froze on me. The Lumin app is more stable (and sound better IMHO).

when i look at the storage space on my tablet it says 28.5gb out of 32gb in use, could this be the problem. i do have a older tablet so getting a newer one with more storage would not bother me to much

It's possible depending on how it fills that remaining space when apps are running.
info@luminmusic.com will be able to help advise more though

I started my Lumin journey with the D2. I will say it is improved with the use of an Sbooster linear power supply. That may void your warranty.
