I have some sennheiser momentum headphones and notice the volume is pretty lacking! and even without the headphones plugged in, volume is kinder low.

I do own a colourfly C4 player and wondering if there was some way to use this to boost the volume and impact with headphones on, or something else I can buy ?

Thanks!!!

Guess the power is dedicated to the device itself so you can keep on playing w/ out killing the battery fast. Like an iDevice. Except those have limiters for sure.

If the c4 has a line in, you can do a 3.5mm -> 3.5mm cable to make it so that it feeds the audio into the c4 and then to your headphones I think. Or you could by a standalone amp like the o2 that has a 3.5mm TRS plug input, which you'd use the 3.5 to 3.5 the same way you would if your c4 has an input.
