Hey guys, it's the time of the year again that I'm looking around for new headphones and other cool stuff and this year I am thinking of upping my IEM's a notch.

I have been happy with the Shure SE 215's for quite a while now, but for my taste they're a little bass heavy and don't always show the details and sound that I'd like. So as for upgrading I was going for a sound upgrade.

After looking around a bit online and thinking about getting customs (which unfortunately are out of my price range as far as I can tell), I found some options. I found the UE900's at a store near me and since I do like the Shure's i have now, the Shure SE535's

I was hoping you guys have some advice on getting this. My max budget on this would be $/€ 400

My music styles are quite wide, and range from movie and videogame music to metal,
The music that I do NOT listen to however is rap, hip-hop, techno, dubstep etc.

Thanks!

Because of the dynamic driver in the SE215, they have a fairly different bass sound than other Shure models. check out this graph of the SE215, SE535, UE700 (they don't have the UE900 in the list) and the SE315. The bass response on the SE215 is much stronger than all the other that all use balanced armature drivers.
