Hey, so I've been using the Astro A40's for a few years on Xbox and they're decent. Recently I bought some Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro's 250 Ohms for my PC and the audio quality with my sound card just blows the A40's away. With that, I was wondering what would be a good headphone to pair with my Astro Mixamp on Xbox One to replace the A40's? I know that a lot of Audiophiles say that the Mixamp is rubbish but it's the only real way to easily mix between game and voice chat on Xbox as well as give positional sound with virtual 7.1 that sounds half decent. I'm looking to get an audiophile headphone that has a detachable cable so that I can plug in something like a V-Moda BoomPro Mic to the headphone to use on Xbox through the Mixamp.

I've been looking at the V-Moda LP2's vs the M100's as well as the Audio Technica ATH-AD700X's as they seem like popular picks. I'm also in Canada so my prices are quite a bit higher compared to the US and I'd like to be around $400 max. If there's something just amazingly better for $500 I would go for it though. Thanks in advance!
