I actually like the enamel coated wire that you find in stuff like iPod headphones. I'm not using it for an audio application. It's simply easy to use/solder for me, very flexible, and rather small diameter.
Either white or black wire out sleeving would be fine. At least 3 conductors.

Does anyone know where I can buy stuff like this? I was looking at various wire manufactueres' websites, but I need something closer to <2.5mm outer diameter.
