Hey everyone, got myself a pair of Sony XBA-A3 about a month ago (maybe more?) and I'm totally into the tuning on these, absolutely loving their smoothness and spaciality, I mean, their soundstage even competes if not better than my HD560S :)

I also have a pair of Sennheiser IE200, but they just don't hit the spot for me and my musical preferences, more of a piercing treble, neutral tuning with some extra bass, meh. The HD560S I have just mentioned are a little better, but still, since the XBA-A3's I'm totally into their tonality. What I'm looking for the most is for music to sound lively and real, which the neutral pairs I own fail in delivering.

Budget somewhere to the $500 price point, I can go for used too.
P.S. I'm going to stick with my A3's for longer, just doing my research early I guess :)

Have a look at AFUL Explorer and Intuaura Splendor II. Both have L shaped signature with thicker bass, natural midrange, less upper midrange glare and good treble extension.
