This is a dirt cheap but functional piece of equipment. My specific use case is that I have both my work and personal computers set up on the same monitor. I change bluetooth settings on my keyboard and mouse when I switch. I was looking for a way to connect my thunderbolt dock connected to the work PC to my DAC without either sharing USB devices across work/personal or having to hot swap. Enter this cheap device. I can use an extra USB port and connect 24/96 via coax or toslink to my dac - Helpful when I want to use headphones during work. It's $24 on amazon.
However, I am posting it today as I didn't realize that it had a headphone out and tested it tonight. It's not great, but clean enough to enjoy music and drive some low ohm full size cans. It's a decent amount of functionality for $24 - I had previously used a Topping D10S to convert USB to coax at over 4x the price.
Just thought I would share
