Hey guys.. ive had my LD 3 for over 4 years now and its started having issues.

Theres a really low audible static noise that carries over the headphones. Ive tried multiple headphones and cant seem to get this issue resolved. Ive also moved the 4 tubes around with no luck.

Anyone have any idea? If you play loud music it drowns out the noise and you cant hear it but if you just have them on your head its incredibly annoying.

My setup is

PC > udac-2 (https://www.nuforce.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=4:udac-2&Itemid=186/index.php) 2 rca cables to > littledot mk3 > Beyer dynamics dt 880 600ohm

If you've recently rearranged your setup and you notice a mild hum, it might be because of a ground loop. If you're Little Dot has just been sitting where it always has it might be the tubes. If these tubes have four years on them then it's not that surprising that one or more might begin to fail, if so you simply need to get new ones. If it turns out to be a ground loop then you'll need a ground loop isolator.
