I got my self a little bear B5 and it has lot of hiss. I can deal with the hiss but it is also killing lot of BASS in my songs. I tried it with all my headphones and there is a significant drop (loss) in bass. If i get the OP amp changed to a one with more bass oriented OP amp, will it make a significant difference?

In another words "Does changing OP amp's make a significant difference in sound signature....?" i have never done this before so i will get it done by a professional since it involves soldering.

Any recommendation for warmer, mellow bass laid back good for vocals OP amp chip?

I'd like to know this also. Very little info on modding the B5 online.....
I don't have any problem with hiss or noise but I would like to lessen the distortion at higher volumes and maybe get a bit more power out of it.
Anyone know a good substitute for the PT2308 which comes in the B5?
Or is there an online cross reference site to locate a similar op amp with similar connections and power requirements so it would be an easy swap?
