Hello, I’m just starting out into headphones, having been into stereo speakers for 10+ years. I just bought the LCD-X and am trying to wrap my head around how I can insert EQ into the mix, while still keeping the setup minimal and portable. I don’t want to have to sit at a desk or right next time my amp at all times. If I’m traveling for work, I’d like to be able to bring this setup with me to a hotel for example.

I’d like to stream via Tidal from my phone > hardwired into ? > LCD-X. I’m a total noob in the arena, so please treat me like a 5yr old. Thank you!

Check out the Qudelix T71 - plenty of power, reasonably sized, and probably the best EQ implementation on a mobile dac/amp.
