I was wanting to pick up a pair of ksc75s from amazon...and I heard that that only place to get the ones with the inline volume adapter is from radioshack but pics from the amazon website shows a package with the volume adapter...so my question is....those who ordered from amazon...did it have the volume adapter?

AFAIK, the in-line thing was a RadioShack "exclusive." I think you're fine.

Avoid the in-line volume control at all costs. It imbalances the volume on its own basis. Like, sometimes you have to "reset" the volume knob to the highest volume to make it remember that the channel imbalance it's exhibiting is not supposed to happen.

Got mine at amazon, no volume control.

And like TheMarchingMule said. It can deteriorate the SQ.

yeah...I wanted to avoid the inline volume thing.... its cheaper on amazon than on ebay... if it did have it I'd just have to recable them....darn

I like the volume control too! It can get the balance off sometime, but a little flick of the dial brings it back. I don't have my MP3s volume leveled so its nice to adjust the volume quickly.

Plus, i picked up three pairs last year from Radio Shack for 7 buck a piece (closeout). I've already been through 2 other pairs. I love them this much!
