I found the KSC24 at my local Borders Books and Music for $24.99.
It is similar to the KSC55 but it is a folding type headphone and the behind-the neck-band is flexible. So the clamping force is actually lessened.

I had the KSC55 once and like most people who found it too tight, I broke it in attempting to make it wider--I got so mad I threw away the drivers.
(I know, I could have kept them for a mod).

Specifications (taken from the packaging):
frequency response: 18-22,000 Hz
impedence: 60 ohms
Sensitivity: 102 dB SPL/1mW
Distortion: <0.2%
cord length: 4 ft.

The headphones is not listed at the KOSS website.

There is, however, a picture at this website:

http://sector29.com/PRODUCT_PAGES/1/...C-24-KOSS.html

and would you believe the freq response it listed as: 1Hz-22kHz!
( I hope I don't get in any trouble for posting this link; I'm a newbie at this stuff).

As for the sound? It sounds like the KSC75 (no burn-in; I just connected it to my Sony NW-E002F DAP and gave it a quick listen). Bass seems more rich and highs a tad shrill. Fits well if I don't use my glasses.

I'm guessing not much because there is 5 holes on the housing. The pic in the link above shows the placement of the holes and they are quite small in diameter (~1/16 inch).
