Koss KSC 75 and KSC 55..sound quality comparison??

i love the streetstyle look of the 55's, but ive also been hearing good thigns about the 75's..how's the sound quality of the 55's??? do they fit snugly onto your head so that you can hear a good bass sound?? and is the comfort really that bad??? wat about the sportapro's sound quality compared with the 55's?? thanks yall!

The 75 and 55 use the same titanium coated driver. The sporta I believe uses the non -titanium version of the same driver found in the porta and KSC35.

They all have a very similar sound. Sonic differences are more the result of fit differances than driver material (IMHO). Basically a tighter fit results in more bass but less soundstage separation.

For my head size the sporta is bassier than the KSC75 as a result of its snug fit.

Note also that the KSC75 can be bent and custom fit. I have mine set up for a snug fit and more bass.

Ive never heard the 55.... Others have complained about the plastic part clamping down on the temple... very uncomfortable.

I dont think there is enough difference in sound quality to justify making a decision based on that. The 55 has a terrible vice grip that you cannot get rid of unless you have very small size head. I use stock headphones over the 55.

actually... i've heard the sportapro and once owned the ksc55.

the sound quality is obviously different between the two.

for me, the bass is WAYYYYY too bloated on the sportas... i much prefer the SQ of the ksc-55, which is a lot of fun and a great deal for the money. i do have a small head, so the "vice grip" was not an issue for me.

i've not heard the ksc75, so can't comment.

ahh its too bad, i was really looking forward to hearing good comments about the ksc 55's...i like the look and convenient of it, instead of having clip ons .and i dont have a small head
