I wish my iems had a recessed hole that matches the protruding shape from the cable tip.

All that's holding them in are the two tiny metal rods

I am tempted to apply a drop of super glue to "weld" the cable tip and iem together.

I am quite rough with my stuff. It needs to be durable. Losing an iem would be a $$$$ mistake.

Finding a detached iem lose in my pocket yesterday scared me.

Any ideas?

Look after them bette?

Anyone else have and solve this problem? I recently bought new IEMs with an aftermarket balanced cable and I’m having the same issue of the 2 pin connectors just falling out easily.

I also have the same issue with the silver moon audio balanced cable.I have the 64 Audio tia Fourt'e IEMs and I am not rough with them just placing them in and out of my Ears will eventually fall off. I wish they had a screw in like on my Layla's.

To avoid glue, a tiny strip of Scotch double sided tape will really grip well if you clean the surface with 91 percent alcohol.
If I had to use glue, a kbear cable with modular ends and a dot of Loctite Gel applied with the head of a pin for the tiniest amount possible. I use the ones with 3.5mm/4.4/2.5 modular ends to save wear on the IEM plugs.
