I recently acquired a pair of K701s and am liking them a lot. However, when I tilt or turn my head, the pads often rub a bit against the frame of my glasses and it makes an awful squeaky sound. If I take my glasses off the problem is gone, but I'd like to read / surf / etc. while using them. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, have you managed to resolve it somehow?

That sucks. I have haven't this problem with any headphones for a long time. Other then sugesting either get contacts, using monocle or using besicles, I have a propositional fix. How about you buy extra ear pads, put them on the headphones and with a fine tipped marker [while wearing them properly] mark out the top and bottom of your arm for each side on the pad. After this remove the pads and get some one to notch the pads (a bit wider then the lines you've marked) [and fix them up properly] so they don't rub on the arms of the glasses. I have no clue how this will affect the sound but it's definatly a posible fix. I'd also like to know of any soultion or, if you try this, how it works. Being some one who also wears glasses this problem both annoys me and concerns me a great deal.

Why make things so difficult. Put your calms above the headphones ear pads. Problem solved

It work great with the calms I have on my headphone. If you have these advanced glasses with separate reading section it may work less good I suppose

Easy--use your SR80 whenever you wear your glasses to read and surf the Internet, and use your K 701 whenever you have the chance to take them off, lie back in a comfy chair, close your eyes, and enjoy the music.

Sell them, they're flawed. j/k

oqvist has the idea. Adjust your frames up on your head and let the hp's cups hold them on.

If your playing air guitar, all bets are off.

Yes that solution works with senns, beyers, denons, akgs, ultrasones, the works. Yet found a headphone it doesn´t work with

Why read and listen to "background music" when you got such nice phones? The book is sure to fall off your lap.... Wes Philips' did.. (remember the Stereophile review of the K701?)

Advice: Wearing glasses isn't good as the frame of the spectacles increases the distance of the earcups from your ears (because of it's elevation)

I found that increasing the distance of the drivers from the ears changes the K701's sound.

I had the same problem when I had my K701. I just learned to live with it. Adjust your glasses until you find something that works, but you're going to have to do it constantly.
