JVC HA-M55X vs 77x impressions?

JVC HA-M55X vs 77x?   Is the 77x worth the upgrade with or without an amp?  are the high's better on the 77x?

Bought an HA-M55X. I never believed in burn in till i got these headphones. After 2 days of "all-frequency" music for 2 days, it's finally opened up. No Extra Bass iem can even come close to these. At full bass, the JVC gives you a neck massage that is if you have a good DAC and amplifier. I am driving these monsters with an SB0460 sound card(outdated but VERY powerful) on my PC. Infact i loved these headphones so so much that i have ordered an HA-M77X too. The JVC Xplosive series is by far the most underrated headphones out there. It puts the entire Beats lineup to shame.
