My Pioneer LX500 BD player’s slow motion and zoom controls are fun and often invaluable for managing aspect ratio differences between content and my TV.

Last night, I was thrilled to find that makeMKV allows me to play my BDs on VLC player. VLC has virtually flawless on the fly slow motion, but its zoom functionality is hopelessly clunky.

I heard that JRiver player for Windows is supposed to have fully functional zoom. If yes, which keystrokes and mouse movements for zooming in and out while playing a DVD or BD movie?

And which then are used for centering the zoomed image on the screen?

Also, which, if any, handheld remote make/models will enable zooming in/out and image centering on the fly when playing a DVD or BD on JRiver?
