Definately a John Hiatt fan - I blame my dad for my love of John Hiatt and Tom Waits.
When he & I worked together in his workshop he'd play at least 2 albums from each in an afternoon, started off being a little uncomfortable with Tom Waits not so dulcet tones and John Hiatts "waaait a second, this is kinda country-ish music".

But, I'd miss both dearly today, very glad my dad introduced me to both!
I actually thought both John Hiatt and Tom Waits were african americans at first !

Favourite albums.. hard to say.
Y'all caught is a good sampler, bring the family and slow turning I like too... can't pick a favourite, each album has its own merits

YO!
Right here!
Big fan. Saw him for the first time back in the late 80's warming up for Robert Cray band. Didn't really know who he was at the time, but was an instant fan after that.
Bring the Family is my favorite.
