I'm fairly new to the electrostatic world, and started having issues with my energizer. I've searched for days and haven't found any issues similar, but from prior threads I think I've narrowed the issue down. When I test my left and right channels in Stereo, the left beep is centerstage, and my right beep is quieter and further right. I figured it was a balancing issue, but when I go to correct it, the right channel balance has no effect on the audio, and the left channel balance controls the audio for both sides.
At this point I check the cables, and I do get a distinct left and right channel when I unplug them, and the cables are new. Both the normal and pro bias have the same issue, with both pairs of estats I own. I have several other pairs of headphones I tested, and have no issues with the balance or soundstage. After digging around through the forums, I know it's probably due for some replacement parts, but I just wanted to see if anyone else might know what the issue is, thanks!
