Hi i have a strange situation with my Levono t430 usb and fiio k11 r2r, the sound keeps breaking up, stuttering etc. The t430 works perfectly with all my other dacs and the fiio works with usb in from a dap used as transport. The K11 r2r also works fine with my dell all-in-one using musicbee.

I have tried changing the T430 settings (using musicbee as my player) but nothing seems to work.

Any help/advice would be welcome, i just do not understand why the combination of t430 and k11 r2r do not work together?

Hi, the problem is it can be any number of things causing it. Are you on Windows 8 or 10? Do you have an external mouse connected or any other peripherals? If you disconnect everything except the K11, does the stuttering improve?

You can try setting your USB ports to not turn off in device manager.

If that doesn't work...you can try disconnecting, removing USB root hub and ports from device manager, restarting and let Windows reinstall them. Then do the power setting change again.

And last, install the Intel Driver Support Assistant or whatever it's called, and try updating any old drivers.

I wrote to FiiO mid January 2025 about POPs and Crackling that I was hearing on my speakers from the K11 R2R. My setup was Intel NUC i5 with the USB 2.0 attachment on Win 11.

I got this response.

Thank you for reaching out to FiiO!
Sorry for the late reply. I am currently experiencing a higher than normal amount of inquiries and I am assisting as quickly as I can.
Please try this USB DAC driver instead: https://fiio-firmware.fiio.net/dac驱动/FiiO_v5.72.0.exe
Then reconnect your device and turn on the FiiO control panel.
Switch the option-streaming to always in the FiiO Control panel and check again?

If you have any questions or concerns please let us know and we would be happy to help you.
Have a nice day!

It has reduced the POPs and Crackling. The USB driver is not listed on the official website though.

Hope this helps you.
