It seems each ad that is popping up on the right side of the screen is being treated by browser as a new page.  In order to go back one actual page, I need to hit the back button for as many ads as are on the right.  This can't be intended, I hope.

It's strange as this issue only popped up yesterday for me.  I had no issues before this.

mine too. using chrome on w7 64bit. i just thought it was marketing gimmick to get more clicks on it. it is quite annoying.

Is it happening on every page, or only specific pages?  I'm going to perform some tests to see if I can replicate this issue.

Also: Have you guys tried turning off any plugins you may have installed and see if it persists?
 
I haven't seen this behavior with my Mac, and I'm testing with a Windows 7 machine with Chrome, and I'm not seeing this issue.  I'm going to download Firefox 4 to test with that as well.

oh oops my issue is different.  i didnt read the op.  someitmes the ad seems to get stuck in a size where the pm link and subscription link are covered. i have to click somewhere else to get out of it.  not sure if its a certain page or not. ill keep an eye out now.
