Loving my H40. The stock cable is very good. Would like to get the best out of the earphone without making the headphone darker or low end "bassier". I like an articulate tighter bass (probably from my home audio planar days) with depth. I'm looking for clear mids, slightly extended highs, enhancement of already good detail, layering and soundstaging abilities. Again, nothing wrong at all with the H40 as it is. it makes me smile. I know there's more to have out of it. I get a bit lost in searching for recommendations in past articles. What are the top two or three i should be strongly considering? PA suggested their OS849, Ive read some glowing reports on the Leo plus, and the AG8 gets good reviews. Are these the three? Or are their others? H40 owners Id love to learn from your experience. Im at an age where I'm losing some of my high frequency hearing ability. Thanks in advance.
