Is there a equalizer that won't mess up SBX on a Sound Blaster Z?

Does anyone know of a equalizer that wont mess up the SBX effect on a Sound Blaster Z sound card?
 
When the flashbang goes off in Call of Duty I feel like I'm being stabbed in the eardrum with a letter opener.

Every Equalizer will affect the signal and also mess with the characteristics of HRTF. Why don't you try the EQ of the SB panel?
