MY COLLECTION'S A BIG ONE AND IT AINT GETTIN' ANY SMALLER! Right now I have a FIIO x5ii with 2, 200 gb micro sd cards. It holds an alright amount of music, but I want something bigger. I grow weary of all the picking and choosing of what albums I want to bring along with me, and what albums get the proverbial axe. I REQUIRE A DAP WITH MUCH LARGER CAPACITY!!! Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lotoo PAW Gold can handle 2 Tb of music (once an SD card of that size is available). Right now I have a PNY 512 Gb in mine and it is 80 % full. oh by the way it isn't cheap, you are looking at a shade under 2 grand for this marvel

Agree. I find it hard to imagine an upper limit to storage requirements. I've got half a terabyte (2x 256gig cards) in my DP-X1A. First card is full. Second will be in no time.

Chord Poly Wi-Fi? with a battery-powered storage Wi-Fi bridge or a battery-powered Wi-Fi external drive off Amazon.

Too early to experiment, but the Poly is a Wi-Fi access point and assume client.

The storage Wi-Fi bridge acts like a Wi-Fi external hard drive but can use multiple storage formats (SD, USB drive, etc.)

Since the limit on micro SD cards at the moment are 256 GB, you are stuck!!
However, the SD cards are now at 1 TB.
My backup unit is old school, Ipod modified with a 1TB SD card, check the Ipod forum if interested.

Nintendo showed 2tb microSD cards at the Switch reveal, so there are at least a few already in the industry's hands...

It's just fun to finally see an actual 2tb card in use.

Probably $2000, but we can dream.......
Top capacity right now is still 256GB.
Anything more isn't available for sale and 2TB doesn't exist.

Another thing about these capacity support claims: If it claims to support 2GB, it doesn't support SDHC and 2GB (4GB with special cards) really is the max you can put in. If it claims 32GB, that means it technically supports 2TB, but doesn't support exFAT (you can still format a larger card to FAT but the filesystem isn't optimized for such volume sizes). If it claims 2TB, that means it's the same as the ones supporting 32GB, but has support for exFAT.
