iRiver iHP-120 or iRiver iFP-895

hey all professionals!

so, i am wery much thinking witch one i buy. I think there are now best 20G player whit price under 400e and best 512mt flashmemory player under 300e?

I wuold like to ask what will hapen to iHp-120 if i trop it floor. Becouse if it can take small punches and like that, i take it. But if it brokes easy, i will take flash memory one.

I also want ask something about canalphones:

i need like this canalphones,
a) i have to hear something about traffic ( i drive whit moped, bike), best wuold be that i hear 75%-85% music and 15%-25% are out side voices.
b) i listen all kind of music, 20% rock , 40% tecno and 40% pop/"light rock", i dont listen metal like never, maybe sometimes
c) they have to be wery softy and like that....and easy to put in.
d) they cannot pay more than 120e, becouse i dont listen so much music whit canalphones, i use stereos usually.

i have thinked this model at now: Sony MDR-EX71SL

if you drop the ihp120 from 4 ft when its in the leather case then it probably will survive. i dropped it 3 times from 2-3ft myself, still working good.

if you drop it while the music is playing, without the case, onto a hard floor, i figure you could risk damaging the harddrive or some components. i have never heard complains about iriver harddrive dying through normal use though.

by "e", do yo mean euro? because 400euro for the ihp120 ridiculous. over here in US we pay close the amount of 250euro for it.

as for the canalphone recommendation...thats a little difficult. i'm not sure how much is 20%, but all canalphones i use with good fit will block out most noises. i think overhead closed heaphone can do 50-60% isolation.

but check out this pioneer. they are very comfortable, much cleaner sounding than the ex71, and doesnt isolate too much.

Thanks a lot. I am going to buy iRiver iHP-120 and maybe Sony MDR-EX71SL. I hate that in german ihp pay 340e (cheapest) and in england 320e. (cheapest) wuold it be bossible to buy from America? But then i have to pay some tax or something? .....

I am also going to buy headphones whit 100e. Wuold these be fine:
Grado SR-80 , they dont pay too much, but i wuold also use them for playing....hmn...wuold they work on it also?

i would prefer the ihp-120 for the usuability. If you are thinking of importing, you have the chance of getting hit with import duties, however i would asume that customs may let a few parcels go thru without duties.

From what I've read, the Grado SR60 would be a better choice if you're not going to use an amp

o ****! they dont sell at any place in german grados whit nice price.
So i have to take sennheiser, koss or some popular maker, like sony

So, all in here, tell me good headphones. Specially for iriver and playing whit computer.
