Cases for the iPod are plentiful in the abstract. There are countless numbers of companies out there producing iPod accessories. Cases are upon the number one accessory produced in the market of iPod’s. It's rare you will find a case set apart from the rest. Now the case I am writing about today is not your average iPod case nor is it the awe-inspiring of cases. It's a case that meets the standards in which should be met in a case for your beloved iPod.
About a week ago a package from Honk Kong showed up at my door. I removed the contents from the padded envelope and pulled out an aluminum tin with the words "ipodkitz' on the lid. My "ipodkitz" had arrived and in great time! It took merely any time at all being 6 days to get to me from the other side of the world. I removed the lid and found a complete kit featuring a black leather case (comes in Black, Red or White), plastic clip, USB to iPod cable and a SmartWrap (Look for my upcoming review on the "SmartWrap" soon) all neatly and safely packaged in the aluminum tin.
I grabbed my iPod and stuck it in for the test. The first test was will this case hold the iPod securely? Yes! It would not fall out even when askew upside down. The second test was will it protect the iPod? To some degree, Yes! It won't protect the click wheel and it won't protect the top but it will protect the majority of everything else. It does have a red velvety interior that will not scratch your iPod which is a plus. The third and final test was of course style. Does it look good? Well I think so. I think it goes suitably well with the white of the iPod.
The other features of this case should be valued as well. The average person would not expect to get a pants clip (to hook your iPod like a cell phone onto your pants) or earphone wrap or USB to iPod cable connector with their iPod case however itzkitz took it a step further to include these kind of useful items with their case.
Conclusively I have to say I enjoyed this product. It arrived in a timely fashion in a well appointed aluminum tin case with great foam padding. For $39.99 you can’t go wrong here. itzkitz has a good product here and their customer service is just as good.
