Hi all,
Been stalking the forums for quite sometime now and finally plucked the courage to post this thread.
After some comments from my employers about my large headphones (HD700), I've decided to give IEMs a try. I purchase of a Shure SE215 as a trial and I really enjoyed it (solid bass, good mids, lacks a little detail, overall a very fun pair of IEMs). I'm now looking for a pair of high end CIEMs as I have a weirdly shaped right ear, which causes some discomfort after long use. The CIEM I'm looking at are the Noble K10 however I'm a little worried that my iPod Classic's build-in DAC will cause noise since the K10 are pretty sensitive. Heres my current setup:
iPod Classic 160GB
Vorzuge VorzAMP Pure II
95% of my music are FLAC rips and the rest are 320kbps mp3.
Should I change the DAP (which I don't really want to since it was a recent present from someone I see daily, doh!), or get a new DAC/AMP combo to replace the Pure II that can handle highly sensitive CIEMS like the K10s... or is the iPod Classic's build-in DAC ok to run such a setup? (highly unlikely)
Please don't bite I'm quite shy
Thanks for the advice!
