Lots of info on external cables on-line. No good. Looks like 28 GA and there is no peg, hole or anything but a slight indent that the current cable is soldered too. I'm aware of solder splash and worried about a planar having membranes so close to the contact area.
I didn't want to get into this but taking them apart and storing them safely wasn't enough and one broke off.
No way I want to mess with 28 ga wire I think my cable has 4 24 ga wires in it. I'd rather canabilize them then mess with 28 GA wires.
Any advice?
