This guy had an older Max. Supposedly the older Max was not nearly as good as the new one. This guy's opinion about the old Max actually isn't totally crazy because he mentioned a review in a magazine where they called the Max "cold," which I read and remember the reviewer using that word. The "New Max" (which, by the way is its name exactly, probably so it can be differentiatied from the flaws of the older Max). Well, hopefully that offers a little answer to why the epinions reviewer thought the old Max was bad.
