It's been close to a year since the last meetup in Markham. Any interest in another? Would a more central location help with attendance?

Are you interested in hosting this year?
I kind of keep my eye out for new meeting spaces, and one site that caught my eye this year was GIGGSTER.
With so many people working from home I think we're going to see more variety available in rental spaces we could potentially use as a venue. The meeting spaces on this site seem more geared towards creatives so locations are modern with lots of light. Perfect for photography, er a headphone audio meet! Just a hint for anyone wanting to host. I have a pair of 660S2s on the way so definitely interested in hearing some good amps.

Cool site. Prices are a little higher than a local community center, but on the other hand we hopefully wouldn't have to deal with a huge - and really noisy - children's birthday party in the room next door.

Meeting up every year might not be doable with as small(?), fractured(?) a community as ours, but I wonder about a yearly mini-meet at the TPL or something.
We could still have a full scale meet whenever there's enough interest, but for the sake of keeping the Toronto head-fi community alive should we attempt scaling these back? The thinking here is that a casual mini-meet might be easier to setup. I now also have a crappy sounding V222 to go along with the Hemps so I invite you all to pick on my lack of judgement in sampling gear.

Perhaps an occasional mini-meet at a quiet park, or maybe a small rented community center room? Those are pretty cheap to rent.

I know. The weird thing is that I've seen lurkers on this thread. I hope they know that a host only goes through the trouble of organizing a meet if there's enough interest. This is just an IC thread guys, it's not like you're promising your first-born when you reply. Just give us a hello if you're interested! We generally don't bite.

Well, hopefully there's more interest on the topic. The GTA isn't small - I'm sure there are enough people interested in headphones to generate an event. They just have to read this thread...
