I wanted to check if anyone here is using Innuos PhoenixNet with Windows based computer as streaming source?

I am asking because since the computer buffers the music, when I pull out the ethernet cable while music is playing (from the buffer), I hear the improvement. Is that the level of improvement I should expect after bringing in PhoenixNet or it is more than that?

Anyone?

Haven't tried the PhoenixNet, but I'd imagine the attention shown to reclocking & the Sean Jacobs-designed power supply would give great results. Along your experimental lines of unplugging the cable, even a Baaske MI-1005 will give a nice improvement.

ymmv disclaimer about personal preference, having a revealing system, etc

I did end up getting one and yes, my system benefited. PhoenixNet is staying. It simply made music more palpable.
