Hello!
I am considering portable headphone amplifier to use it with my iPhone/ iMac for Apple Music hi res audio .
My principal headset is the HD540 reII but also I use some lower impedance models of Audiotechnica.
I had already tested ifi hip dac (blue) and found the sound very good
the only issue was related to the led indicator that didn’t change its color in the response to the audio source provided from my iPhone ( with Fiio k5 pro I don’t have this issue).
Now I am considering purchasing either hip dac 1 (blue, 90 euros ) or hip dac 2 (orange, 170 euros) . Would there be a big differences between them (which could cost additional 80 euros) for my setup ??
