what are some good IEM's that are good for hip-hop, techno, as well as oldies such as the tempations and the Supremes. I basically listen to all genres of music except for country music. I'm looking to spend up to $175.

the atrio are not vocal phones like very mid centred phones. however, if you music is slow like hip hop and some electronic then they are good. if you musical tastes take you to trance of any type other than ambient, they are too slow. they are great overall phones but are not good for bass heavy fast music.

and by fast, i am thinking when bpm becomes king in actual dance music where you are not out to grope as you body cannot grope or grind, all you can do is gyrate.
